How do I get tickets to a Smith Opera House show?

Purchase over the phone by the box office at 315-781-9583 or person at the box office during the hours of Tuesday to Friday 10am to 4pm. If tickets do not sell out in advance, they will be sold at the door on the night of the show beginning one hour before doors open.  Cash and credit cards accepted.  Please be warned – do not trust or rely on tickets/promises sold by 3rd party vendors!!! Unfortunately, we cannot help you if you have been sold bogus tickets by an unscrupulous vendor.

Do you serve food and beverages/alcohol?

Yes! We serve beer, wine, and canned cocktails as well as popcorn and snacks. If you are 21 years+ and plan on drinking alcohol at The Smith, a government issued photo ID is required for purchase.

Where do I park?

Can I bring a camera?

Our photo policy adjusts to the specific requests of the performers. These requests are usually not known until day of show.

Does The Smith Opera House have seats?

Unless a show is advertised as reserved seated, our shows are general admission. We do have a seated balcony that offers a great view. The Smith has 1,319 comfortable padded seats. View our seating chart here.

Is there re-entry?

Our re-entry policy depends on the specific conditions of the performance.

For some shows, we do allow re-entry. If you do choose to leave and re-enter at intermission, be sure to have your hand stamped before you leave the building. Also, as a courtesy to other patrons, arrive on time before the end of intermission so that you won’t disrupt others when taking your seat.

I bought tickets online and wasn’t able to print them right away/need to reprint them. Help!

Our official ticketing system is Eventbrite. If you opted for print-at-home tickets with your online purchase, you should have received an email from Eventbrite with a PDF attachment. Look for that email and then open the PDF and print–those are your tickets. If you can’t find that email check your spam filter or junk folder.

If you deleted the email by accident or never received it, call our Box Office during box office hours for assistance.
