Lodi Historical Society Fundraiser -- The Piano Stylings of Bert Salmirs

PIANO STYLIST BERT SALMIRS PERFORMS MUSIC FROM THE GREAT AMERICAN SONGBOOK The next Music at Lodi event is on Sunday, August 1 at 4 pm when Bert Salmirs will perform music from Broadway and the Great American Songbook as a fundraiser for the LHS. He will play selections from George Gershwin, Jerome Kern, Cole Porter, Lerner and Loewe, Richard Rodgers, Leonard Bernstein, Stephen Sondheim and Andrew Lloyd Webber. The concert is a fundraiser for the LHS and tickets are $10. Bert played piano for many years in the New York City area before he came to teach music at the Watkins Glen High School. He continues to play regularly in Corning and will present a delightful afternoon of music. We guarantee that you will have a good time listening to the piano stylings of a true professional. Whether you are a long-time fan of Bert Sal or a first time listener, we are sure that you will agree that this is one of the best uses for your ten dollars.
