Smith Opera House hosts Volunteer Recruitment Open House on Jan. 12
GENEVA NY — Does your 2019 New Year’s resolution include the wish to make a valuable contribution to the Geneva and greater Finger Lakes arts community? Then consider joining the Smith Opera House volunteer team. The Smith will be hosting a Volunteer Recruitment Open House on Saturday, Jan. 12 from 3 to 4:30 p.m. inside the theater lobby at 82 Seneca St. in Geneva. Light refreshments will be served.
This event will give participants a chance to tour the theater and learn about the different roles volunteers play at The Smith, from ushering, ticket scanning and selling concession and bar beverages at live events and movies to helping with special projects. The open house is free and open to the public.
