Smith Center for the Arts

The Smith is back open and able to provide live entertainment! We’re looking for volunteer help now more than ever, and would love to add you to our roster of caring, friendly, and dedicated volunteers.

The Smith Center for the Arts is a non-profit organization that maintains the historic Smith Opera House. Here at The Smith we host a variety of events including concerts, movies, and live performances by community organizations.

Volunteers at The Smith help us provide a welcoming, organized, and safe building for all event attendees by serving as ushers, ticket takers, and concession and bar workers. We also provide opportunities for poster distribution, window display creation, and other odds and ends.

THE SMITH’S COVID-19 POLICIES

Please note: By purchasing tickets for this event you, and all other ticket holders in your party, agree to abide by The Smith Opera House’s COVID-19 policies. These policies include, but are not limited to: receiving a symptom check upon arrival at the venue, adhering to pre-assigned seating, wearing a face covering while at the venue, maintaining 6 feet physical distance between myself and other patrons, abiding by all signage posted at the venue, and not entering the venue if I, or any member of my party, is feeling ill or has been in close contact with anyone with a known case of COVID-19.
