The doors open with a reception at 6 p.m. Karolyn Grimes will introduce the night’s featured film and discuss the making of the movie prior to its screening at about 6:45 p.m.

On July 19, Grimes will present “My Life in Films,”  a presentation about growing up in Hollywood and working with many famous stars, including Cary Grant, Loretta Young and Bing Crosby. Karolyn will also talk about Blue Skies (1946), where Crosby sings Getting Nowhere to her.

Following the presentation and reception, there will be a screening of The Bishop’s Wife (1947) with Karolyn as Debbie. The movie stars Cary Grant, Loretta Young and David Niven. Bobbie Anderson, who played Young George in It’s a Wonderful Life, is also in The Bishop’s Wife.
