About Love, Simon

Everyone deserves a great love story, but for 17-year-old Simon Spier, it’s a little more complicated. He hasn’t told his family or friends that he’s gay, and he doesn’t know the identity of the anonymous classmate that he’s fallen for online. Resolving both issues proves hilarious, terrifying and life-changing. Based on the novel Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli.

ABOUT READ, WATCH, CONNECT

Based completely around book to movie adaptations, Read, Watch, Connect is a collaboration between The Smith and Geneva Public Library with support by Geneva Reads.

Each week through the month of April patrons will be able to watch the film on the Smith’s huge projection screen then join the Public Library for a variety of free virtual programming from trivia competitions to take and make crafts.

Those who attend both the screening and virtual event will be entered in a raffle to win a set of Smith movie passes and a copy of the book, provided by Geneva Reads.
