Santa Train Express
The Geneva Rotary Club is sponsoring the Santa Train Express in cooperation with Finger Lakes Scenic Railway.
This year, five trains will run on Saturday, December 2, 2023. All children aged 2+ must have a ticket to board the train.
The trains will board in downtown Geneva adjacent to the Public Safety Building on Railroad Place, just off Exchange Street. Trains will depart promptly at 10:00 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 1:00 p.m., 2:30 p.m., and 4:00 p.m. Actual boarding time will be 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time for any train. The trains ride is approximately 50 minutes in length.
Santa and Mrs. Claus will be aboard each train and will meet with every child. Each child will receive a coloring book, a box of crayons, candy cane, and an ornament. A holiday sing-along will be held during each trip. Also, hot chocolate, soda and light snacks will be available for purchase on the train. Children who bring hats and mittens and gloves in good condition to donate to charity will receive a free hot chocolate.
