Yes, though some shows and all films are seated as general admission. Please check specific event details. For more details on our seating arrangements, please view our seating chart.

Seating: The Smith has designated seats for patrons who use wheelchairs or other mobility devices. These tickets are available online or via box office sales on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you need assistance purchasing tickets for a show, please call our Box Office between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday at 315-781-5483.

Please be aware that our theater requires patrons to navigate ramps.

Patrons may also elect to transfer to a theater seat from a walker, wheelchair or scooter. Due to fire codes, unoccupied walkers, wheelchairs and scooters cannot be left in the aisles. Our House Manager or volunteer ushers will store them in a safe, designated space in the lobby. They can be returned to you at any time.

Restrooms: There are two accessible restrooms on the lobby level.

Assistive Listening Devices: We have assistive listening devices available to borrow on a first-come/first-serve basis, which are fully connected to our sound system for movies. Patrons may be asked to leave a driver’s license during the loan period.

If you need an assistive listening device for a live event, please call our box office between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday at 315-781-5483 before the event so that our technical crew can make proper arrangements.

There are several public parking lots within walking distance to the theater. One is right across the street from The Smith on Seneca Street. Click here for a map. Street parking is also readily available.

The Smith Opera House accepts all major credit cards and cash at the Box Office, Concession, and Bar (open only during certain events). The Smith does not have an ATM machine, though some of our neighboring businesses do.

Our re-entry policy depends on the specific conditions of the performance. For some shows, we do allow re-entry. If you do choose to leave and re-enter at intermission, be sure to have your hand stamped before you leave the building. Also, as a courtesy to other patrons, arrive on time before the end of intermission so that you won’t disrupt others when taking your seat.
Yes! We serve beer, wine, and canned cocktails as well as popcorn and snacks. If you are 21 years+ and plan on drinking alcohol at The Smith, a government issued photo ID is required for purchase.
