The Smith has long been at the heart of Geneva’s arts and culture. From hosting national tours in the ArtSmart Educational Theatre series for local schoolchildren to providing a dazzling stage for graduations, dance recitals, and more, The Smith continues to enrich the lives of our community. Legendary performers have graced The Smith’s stage, praising its stunning acoustics, breathtaking architecture, and the enthusiastic audiences that fill the seats.
This Fall, The Smith has an exciting lineup of upcoming shows and events:
- The Soul Rebels (Nov 2, 2024) – This genre-bending brass ensemble will light up The Smith stage with their signature blend of jazz, funk, soul, and hip-hop.
- EagleMania (December 14, 2024) – The world’s greatest Eagles tribute band will bring their electrifying performance to The Smith, featuring timeless hits like “Hotel California” and “Take It Easy.”
- 130th Anniversary Movie Series – Travel through time with us as we screen iconic films, each representing or set in a different decade since The Smith opened its doors in 1894. From the silent film era to 21st-century blockbusters, this series is a cinematic journey through history!
- Fairytale of New York (December 7, 2024) – Step into a magical evening of Irish music and holiday classics, perfect for ringing in the festive season.
