GENEVA, NY – The Smith Center for the Arts is excited to announce the launch of its new Family Performance Series, designed to bring high-quality, live entertainment to audiences of all ages. The series will debut on December 12, 2025 at the historic Smith Opera House and will feature a variety of performances that inspire excitement and connection among families.
“The Smith Family Performance Series gives us the opportunity to stretch our wings and present new types of events that the whole family can enjoy together,” said Susan Monagan, Executive Director. “We’ve chosen theater and magic to acrobatics and animal acts, and hope they delight, entertain and develop a new generation of live performance lovers!”
The inaugural season will include four performances between December 2025 and May 2026. All performances in the series will be held at family-friendly times, with ticket prices subsidized by our generous sponsors. Discounts for groups of 10 or more are available.
A Christmas Carol: Friday, December 12, 2025 @ 7:00 PM
A timeless holiday classic brought to life on stage. Ticket prices: $35-$75.
Puppy Pals Live: Sunday, January 25, 2026 @ 3:00 PM
An action-packed, family-friendly comedy show featuring a cast of rescue dogs performing spectacular stunts. Ticket prices: $25-$45.
The Peking Acrobats: Sunday, April 12, 2026 @ 5:00 PM
Dazzling acrobatic feats, gravity-defying stunts, and vibrant costumes.
Ticket prices: $18-$58.
Bill Blagg’s Family Magic: Saturday, May 9, 2026 @ 3:00 PM
An interactive, high-energy magic show that will leave audiences of all ages amazed.
Ticket prices: $25-$45.
