GENEVA, NY – The day has finally arrived, and we are ready to #FilltheSmith! For ONLY 24 hours, the Smith Center for the Arts will be hosting a virtual Giving Day called #FilltheSmith and seeking a donation for every seat in the house or 1400 in all. Dave and Brenda Rickey, the Cooper Family, and Bottomless Brewing will be matching a portion of the gifts received today, enabling donors to double and triple their gift and impact. #FilltheSmith is all about celebrating The Smith and her perseverance, beauty, and continued impact on Geneva and the Finger Lakes, despite the recent challenges presented by the global pandemic. Individuals who donate today will receive special filmed performances or tutorials by local and regional performers and experts. There will be performances and tutorials from Joyce Jacobsen, President of Hobart & William Smith Colleges, theatre artist Tyrone Henderson, the Geneva City Singers, and many more!
