Geneva Light Opera presents Franz Lehár’s operetta “The Merry Widow” in live performances at the Smith Opera House in Geneva, New York.

“The Merry Widow” tells the tale of one community’s attempt to keep a wealthy widow’s fortune within its fold. What follows is a tale of mirth, intrigue, and not a few good laughs.

Running time: Three acts with one 25-30 minute intermission
Total time: 2 hours and 20 minutes

This operetta is sung in German with supertitles projected through-out the performance.
