About La Cenerentola

Featured in “La Cenerentola” will be mezzo soprano Sarah Nordin as Cinderella with Metropolitan Opera bass Valerian Ruminski as her nasty step-father and Latin American tenor Esteban Zuniga as Prince Charming. Baritone Brian Keith Johnson will appear as the Prince’s hilarious side-kick and valet. Michelle Seipel and Emily Hughes will sing the roles of Cinderella’s wealthy and obnoxious step-sisters, and American bass Tyler Putnam will appear as the philosopher with magic skills that bring an abused and innocent servant from the cinders of her kitchn duties to a royal throne.

“The Triumph of Kindness” is the alternative title for this opera, an interesting twist on the classic fairy tale.
