PEACE WEEK
A week of actions and gatherings to cultivate peace and wellbeing, including:
- The Smith’s lobby will be open Monday-Thursday from 8:30am-3:30pm, so that you may watch a sand mandala being created by Tenzin Yignyen. Find out more about the sand mandala ritual here.
- at 10am on Friday, May 5th, there will be a ceremony of dismantling the mandala and a procession to the lake to deposit the sand in the water. All are welcome!
- Each day, local practitioners will offer FREE yoga and meditation classes at The Smith. Schedule is below. Samples are:
- Intro to Stress Reduction-dancing on the border between chaos and order.
- Restorative Yoga & Singing Bowls
- Saturday, May 6th, from 10am-4pm, local wellness vendors will offer samples of their goods and services in The Smith’s 2nd Floor Dance Studio
