A gathering of gospel music from across the country!

“Singing in the Spirit,” is a joyful gathering of gospel music from across the country that features the Billboard-charting Chosen Few of Omaha, Nebraska. The group has toured extensively across the country, bringing their Blues, Country, Jazz, R&B, and Funk-infused Gospel to the House of Blues New Orleans and Houston and many festivals. Joining the Chosen Few will be Greg Logins and Revival, Brian McIntosh, Lite Blue, Wayne Anthony Norwood and the Children of God, Linda Najar, and Alma Miller. Genevan Patti Blue and the Geneva MLK Choir will also add their musical stylings to this lively evening of Gospel.

Time for some good news blues that you can use! Light Blue – Upstate New York’s favorite gospel blues band – serves up an inspirational brand of full-throttle, soul-swaying music that lifts your eyes toward heaven and chases your blues away. Since 2007, Light Blue has played to thousands at coffee houses, bars, church picnics, prisons, community fests, homeless shelters and the New York State Fair. The band has released its second CD, “Different Shade of Blues,” featuring all original tracks. We’re talkin’ roadhouse blues, gospel blues, classic blues, delta blues, rockin’ blues – with a portion of R&B and a pinch of jazz.

The Children of God is a group that has been together for over 51 years. To this day, they still have one of the original members in the person of Wayne Anthony Norwood. The remaining members are: David Muse, Shedrick Wooden, Carl Floyd, James Huff, Antonio Frazier and James McCuller. Over the years, The Children of God have shared the stage with some of gospel’s best. They have appeared with: Evangelist Shirley Caeser, Keith “Wonderboy” Johnson and The Spiritual Voices, Lee Williams and The Spiritual QC’s, Nu Beginnings featuring Damon Little, The Original Keynotes, The Original Soul Stirrers, The Williams Brothers, The Jackson Southernaires, The Swannee Quintet, Lil’ Willie and The Keynotes, Jay Caldwell and The Gospel Ambassadors, Vickie Yohe, Kirk Franklin,The Mighty Clouds of Joy, The Hi Way QC’s, LeShun Pace, The Gospel Four, The Singing Stars, The Canton Spirituals, Slim and The Supreme Angels, The Sensational Nightingales, The Fantastic Bright Clouds, The Voices of Clouds, Luther Barnes and The Sunset Jubilees and Doc McKenzie and The Hi-lites just to name a few.
